为指导人工修枝, 培育优质桉树无节材, 以 2 a 生粗皮桉 Eucalyptus pellita、 大花序桉
E. cloeziana、 托里桉 E. torelliana 和尾叶桉 E. urophylla 人工林为研究对象, 采用完全随机区组设计, 开展
每木检尺调查, 测定枝下高、 枝条数量、 枝条基径、 枝条长度和分枝角度。 结果表明, 4 种桉树幼龄林的
生长指标 (树高、 胸径等) 和枝条生长特性 (枝条数量、 枝下高等) 均存在显著差异 (P<0. 05)。 在生
长指标上, 尾叶桉林分的长势最佳 (树高 9. 94 m, 胸径 9. 38 cm), 显著优于粗皮桉 (树高 7. 16 m, 胸径
7. 20 cm)、 托里桉 (树高 6. 88 m, 胸径 7. 84 cm) 和大花序桉 (树高 5. 57 m, 胸径 6. 63 cm) (P <
0. 05)。 在侧枝数量方面, 大花序桉侧枝最多 (9. 5 条), 其次是粗皮桉 (4 条)、 托里桉 (2. 8 条), 尾叶
桉侧枝最少 (1. 6 条)。 在枝条生长特性方面, 大花序桉枝下高最低 (0. 79 m), 尾叶桉 (1. 26 m) 和粗
皮桉 (1. 27 m) 次之, 托里桉最高 (1. 71 m)。 4 种桉树间的枝条基径和长度差异未达到显著水平。 因
此, 建议针对不同桉树的侧枝生长特性制定修枝策略, 以实现无节材的高效培育。 |

Growth Characteristics of Lateral Branches in Young Plantation Forests of Four Eucalyptus Species |

To guide artificial pruning and cultivate high-quality eucalyptus knotless timber, two-year-old
Eucalyptus pellita, E. cloeziana, E. torelliana, and E. urophylla plantations were used as the research subjects.
A completely randomized block design was used. An individual tree sunvey was conducted, measuring height to
the first branch, number of branches, branch basal diameter, branch length, and branch angle. The results showed that significant differences (P<0. 05) existed among the four eucalyptus species in both growth indicators
(including but not limited to tree height and DBH) and branch growth characteristics (including but not limited
to number of branches and height to the first branch). In terms of growth indicators, E. urophylla stands exhibited the best growth performance (9. 94 m TH, 9. 38 cm DBH), which was significantly better than E. pellita
(7. 16 m TH, 7. 20 cm DBH), E. torelliana (6. 88 m TH, 7. 84 cm DBH) and E. cloeziana (5. 77 m TH,
6. 63 cm DBH). In terms of the number of lateral branches, E. cloeziana had the highest number of lateral
branches (9. 5), followed by E. pellita (4) and E. torelliana (2. 8) and E. urophylla had the lowest number of
lateral branches (1. 6). In terms of branch growth characteristics, E. cloeziana had the lowest height to the first
branch (0. 79 m), E. urophylla (1. 26 m) and E. pellita (1. 27 m) were intermediate, and E. torelliana had
the highest (1. 71 m). Differences in basal diameter and length of branches among the four eucalyptus species
did not reach a significant level. Therefore, it is recommended that pruning strategies be developed for the lateral growth characteristics of different eucalypts in order to achieve efficient cultivation of knot-free timber. |
