Abstract: |
The influencing factors of the key stand quality of forestcan objectively reflect the real condition
of forest resources, and provide a basis for the precise improvement of forest quality and sustainable operation
and management. Taking the forest land in the State-owned Xingang Forest Farm of Zhaoqing city, a middle
subtropical region of China, as the the research object, 11 types of indicators were selected for analysis. The
correlation between forest quality indicators was studied by factor analysis, and the key forest quality influencing
factors were evaluated. The results showed that there was a strong correlation between average plant height and
average DBH, and there was a strong correlation between volume per hectare, average DBH, average plant
height, and canopy density, and there was a strong correlation between average DBH, average plant height,
and volume per hectare. There was a negative correlation between forest health degree and forest land quality
grade. Tree species structure was negatively correlated with 11 indexes, and its influencing factors were small in
the process of stand quality evaluation. The stand quality evaluation in the study area showed high spatial hetero- geneity. The stand quality in the northern region was better than that in the southern region, and the stand quality classification in the southern slope was mostly excellent. Affected by human activities and other factors, the
quality of forest stands in the edge area of forest farms is poor, and the surrounding areas of no forest land are
mostly medium. Active management measures need to be taken to improve the standing status and gradually
reach a good or excellent level. |
