| Castanopsis fissa is a native broad leaved tree with high ecological and economic value in south China. and is planted in the short rotation commercial fibers timber forest. The paper introduces the seed collection, nursing technique, planting technique, tending management, and pest management of C. fissa. The managements have guiding significance for the extensive cultivation of C. fissa. |
