Study on Soil Physical and Chemical Properties of Different Landscape Types in Fengxi Provincial Nature Reserve, Guangdong |

Abstract: |
In order to further understand the physicochemical properties of soils in different landscapes of
the Guangdong Fengxi Provincial Nature Reserve, the thesis used field surveys and indoor analysis methods to
analyze the physicochemical properties of soils (0-20 cm layer) in three landscapes of the reserve. The results
showed that the average natural moisture content of soil in the cultivated land landscape was 291. 44 g·kg
-1
,
significantly higher than that in the forest landscape (190. 38 g·kg
-1
) and grassland landscape (251. 52 g·kg
-1
)(P<0. 05). However, the average bulk density of soil in the cultivated land landscape (1. 10 g·cm
-3
) was
significantly lower than that in the forest landscape (1. 25 g·cm
-3
) and grassland landscape (1. 28 g·cm
-3
)
(P<0. 05), with significant differences in natural moisture content and bulk density among different landscapes
(P<0. 05). The average organic matter content of soil in the cultivated land landscape (30. 29 g·kg
-1
) was
significantly higher than that in the grassland landscape (20. 51 g·kg
-1
) and forest landscape ( 14. 65 g·
kg
-1
), and there were significant differences in soil organic matter content among different landscapes
(P<0. 05). The stoichiometric analysis of soil C, N, and P showed that there were no significant differences
in C ∶ N among the forest landscape, cultivated land landscape, and grassland landscape, but there were significant differences in C ∶ P and N ∶ P among different landscapes (P<0. 05). Overall, there were significant
differences in physicochemical properties and other indicators of soil among different landscape types, and the
stoichiometry of soil chemistry in different landscape types was strongly correlated with basic physicochemical
properties. |
