Abstract: |
From February 2021 to November 2021, we used infrared camera technology to investigate terrestrial
large and medium-sized beasts and birds in Nanwan Castanopsis hystrix Provincial Nature Reserve in Guangdong. In this
study, 40 kilometers of 1 km×1 km network and 40 camera sites were set up, a total of 48 248 photos were taken, while
12 112 valid photos were taken. A total of 45 species of wild animals were investigated, belonging to 12 orders and 11
families. 35 species of birds in 3 families, 9 orders were investigated, and 8 families, 3 orders, and 10 species of beasts
were investigated at the same time. A total of 13 species of wildlife under state key protection were investigated, including
1 species under State Ⅰ protection and 12 species under State Ⅱ protection. At the same time, based on bird diversity,
the Gleason index was compared with other protected zone in Guangdong Province, The results showed that the Gleason
index of protected area was relatively small in this reserve, suggesting that bird diversity was low, which was speculated
to be related to the reduction of plant diversity in castanopsis hystrix after human disturbance. |
