Abstract:
The metabolites compositions and content differences in the pollen of Pinus massoniana, P. elliottii, P. taeda and P. elliottii × P. caribaea were analyzed by UPLC-MS/MS. A total of 368 metabolites were identified, including the lipids, organic acids, amino acids, saccharides and alcohols, and flavonoids. The results of statistical analysis showed that total of 175 differential metabolites were identified in four pine pollen. Among them, 31, 6, 5 and 2 metabolites were significantly high accumulation in the pollen of P. massoniana, P. taeda,P. elliottii × P. caribaea and P. elliottii, respectively. Especially, protocatechuic acid nervonic acid were specifically accumulated in the pollen of P. massoniana. However, there was no significant difference in the contents of most of the identified amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids and flavonods. The results showed that all of the four pine pollen were rich in various nutrients and bioactive substances, and could be used as raw materials for medicine and health care products
