Abstract:
In this experiment, the fermented goose feces was applied to Pennisetum americanum × P. purpureum to explore the feasibility of applying fertile goose feces to P. americanum × P. purpureum. Compared with the control group, chemical fertilizer, fermented goose feces, and decomposed goose manure treatment had significant effects on the agronomic traits and quality of P. americanum × P. purpureum. In the three groups of fertilization treatments, the differences in the agronomic traits and quality of the chemical fertilizer and the fermented goose feces in the P. americanum × P. purpureum were not significant. On the whole, the effect of decomposed goose feces is always the best in improving the yield and quality of P. americanum × P. purpureum. The first mowing the fermented goose feces is inferior to the fertilizer, but in the second and third times, it is free of fermentation. Goose feces are better than fertilizers. The soil chemical properties of the hybrid wolftail grassland were determined, and the soil organic matter and mineral nutrient contents of the single application fertilizer group showed a downward trend. Application of decomposed goose feces and fermented goose manure can not only ensure and improve the yield and quality of P. americanum × P. purpureum, but also increase the soil organic matter content: the soil organic matter in the fermented goose feces group and the decomposed goose feces group increased by 8% and 12%, respectively. All can guarantee the stability and improvement of other mineral elements. By comparing the growth indexes of P. americanum × P. purpureum, it is concluded that the fermented goose feces does not have adverse effects on hybrid Hydrangea. Although the overall effect is not good in decomposed goose feces, it has the same effect as the fertilizer group in improving the yield and quality of P. americanum × P. purpureum. And the effect of the fermented goose feces to enhance soil fertility is more significant. It is indicated that direct application of fermented goose feces to hybrid wolftail grassland is a feasible way.
