Abstract:
In order to better understand the effect of bamboo (Phyllostachys heterocycla) expending on community structure of soil oribatid mite, an experiment was conducted in Conghua Liuxihe Forest Park. The bamboo forest, bamboo and broad-leaved mixed forest and broad-leaved forest were investigated and sampled by quadrat method in winter of 2017. Soil oribatid mites were extracted and identified by a modified Tullgren method. The results showed that a total of 5 607 oribatid mites were captured, belonging to 67 genera. The dominant genera were Rostrozetes, Lasiobelba and Megalotocepheus. The individual number of soil oribates in bamboo forests was larger than other forests. However, the number of family of soil oribates in broad-leaved forest was the highest among three type of forests, and the four diversity indices of community were also the largest. Our results indicated bamboo forest expending was conducive to increase the individual number of oribatid mites, but not on the diversity of soil oribates communities. Similar conclusions were drawned by similarity of soil oribatid mite communities and MGP analysis.
