| This article takes Huizhou, Guangdong as an example to study the current status of management of ecological public welfare forests. It analyzes and researches the general design of the information management system, the construction of the database and the design and implementation of the system functions through the investigation of the users’ needs. It also expounds how to build the municipal ecological public welfare forest management information system based on the 3S technology. |
