Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to find out the species distribution of wild birds in Changjiang Reservoir Forest Reserve in Zhongshan city, and to explore the relationship between the birds and plant communities. According to The technical specification for investigation and monitoring of species diversity of terrestrial wild vertebrate in natural reserves, combined with the sampling method and the line transect method, the protected area was divided into 15 samples (2 km×2 km) for the investigation of birds and plant communities. A total of 13 orders 30 families recorded 80 species, including 10 species under second-class protection. There were 9 species of birds included in the ICUN appendix II, and their residence type, fauna and seasonal distribution were statistically investigated. Based on the analysis of the diversity of birds and plant communities in the sample site, the density and diversity of birds in the protected areas were correlated with plant community diversity.
