Abstract: |
To research the soil under Pinus elliottii forest, Eucalyptus urophylla forest and Schima superba forest in Changgangshan Natural Reserve of Guangzhou. We made a comparative study for the physical and chemical properties of soil under different forest types and in different soil layers. The results showed that:(1) the soil bulk density and hygroscopic water content under differernt forest type followed the linage order that P. elliottii forest >S. superba forest >E. urophylla; for soil natural water content, total nitrogen (TN) and available potassium(AK), the linage order was P. elliottii forest>E. urophylla forest >S. superba; for soil pH, soil organic matter (SOM) and available phosphorus (AP), the linage order was E. urophylla forest>P. elliottii forest>S. superba forest.(2)The soil bulk density, natural water content, SOM in the 0~60 cm soil layer of different forest types showed significant differences, but there were no significant differences between the soil hygroscopic water content, pH, TN,AP and AK.(3)The physical and chemical properties of soil showed no significant difference in different soil layers. Moreover, the physical and chemical properties of soil had no significant difference under the interaction of forest types and soil layers. |
