Abstract:
The experimental stand was established using tissue culture seedlings of Cinnamomum camphora clone, which the growth was studied. The results showed that the average of tree height was 1.12 m, the average of canopy width was 1.1 m for 1-year old seedlings; the average of tree height was 3.34 m, average of canopy width was 1.4 m and average of DBH was 2.94 cm for 3-year old trees. After 5 years of growth, a series of averages of tree height 5.35 m, canopy width 1.68 m and DBH 4.8 cm was obtained, and these three indexes were increased by 60.01%, 20.1% and 63.26% respectively when compared with that of 3-year old trees. The tree height was very significant differences in different years. There was significant difference in DBH between 5-year and 3-year of growth, but there was not significant difference in growth of canopy width. There were not notable differences in growth among blocks, which showed that the growth of plantation was consistent.
