Abstract: |
In this paper, vegetation ecology methods were adopted to study the vegetation succession of four fixed samples set in 1997 and 1998 in Neilinngding island. The species composition, community structure and species diversity of four major typical communities were mainly analyzed. The results showed that, all the communities, including Pinus massoniana-Ilex asprella Litsea rotundifolia var. oblongifolia community, Pinus massoniana-Loropetalum chinense Litsea rotundifolia var. oblongifolia community, Pinus massoniana-Aporosa dioica-Litsea rotundifolia var. oblongifolia community, Microcos paniculata Ficus microcarpa-Cratoxylum cochinchinensis community, had a large change in species composition. Pinus massoniana in the Pinus massoniana communities declined obviously, and its dominant position was replaced by the broadleaf species. Microcos paniculata, dominant species of Microcos paniculata Ficus microcarpa-Cratoxylum cochinchinensis community, had more obvious advantages. In addition, the structures of the four communities had been more complex, mainly reflected in the more diverse composition of tree layer, shrub layer, vine plant and herbaceous plant. Species diversity indexes indicated that the species diversities of the four communities were improved. The results above indicated the Pinus massoniana communities in Neilingding island were in progressive succession to the more complicated Subtropical broad leaved communities, and the Microcos paniculata community was in progressive succession to a more complicated one.\ |
