| Abstract: |
| This paper discussed the significance and content of comparative phyto ecol geography, and the development and questions of this new subject. It especially indicated that (1) rainfall pattern played a very important role in phyto-geographical zoning; and (2) based upon the zoning and its comparisons, we could find out the potential vegetation and pot species among the regions of similar rainfall pattern. This work is a guide of plant introduction and domestication, as well as the popularization of improved variety. We will discuss these applications of the subject in another paper later. |
