| 桃金娘在广东省广州地区6—7月的扦插成活率不超过5%；光对其种子萌发有一定的促进作用；常温下水浸泡处理的种子发芽率达到35%，100 ℃热水和200 mg/L NAA溶液处理不利于种子发芽，金属离子处理对种子发芽有明显促进作用，其种子发芽率比对照高25～35个百分点；桃金娘总体发芽率较低，约为30%～40%。 |

| Abstract: |
| Breeding and cultivating technique of Rhodomyrtus tomentosa were studied in this paper. The results showed that cutting survival rate did not exceed 5% in Guangzhou from June to July. Light has positive effect on seed germination; Under the normal temperature the seed soaking germination rate was 35%. Hot water (100 ℃) and NAA were unfavorable for seed germination, while metal ion treatment made seed germination rate 25%—35% higher than the control. R. tomentosa exhibited lower germination rate with a range of 30%—40%. |
