非洲桃花心木种源试验及优良个体选择研究

摘要:
2006年春,在广东省广州市北部山地营建了1块非洲桃花心木种源试验林,包括5个布基纳法索种源,1个中国海南种源。通过5个年度的观测,评价参试种源在广州山地的生长表现和耐寒能力。试验结果如下:①非洲桃花心木是造林容易成活的树种,造林成活率为97.35%,第二年的保存率为95.59%;②非洲桃花心木耐寒能力较差,冬季霜冻会导致部分树木的叶片甚至枝条冻伤,但冻害致死的比例仅为1.84%;③在耐寒能力方面,海南种源的耐寒能力最低,来自布基纳法索的5个种源中,高纬度的北部种源其耐寒能力强于低纬度的南部种源;在生长方面,生长量最大的为海南种源,其6 a生平均树高、胸径生长量分别为329.57 cm和3.80 cm,其次为布基纳法索的南部种源,北部种源生长较慢;④根据生长量、耐寒能力及干形等指标,评选出优良个体27株,其平均树高441.58 cm,平均胸径5.95 cm,树高、胸径的平均遗传增益分别为8.54%和0

Early Result of a Provenance Test of Khaya senegalensis in Guangzhou, China

Abstract:
A provenance testing plantation of Khaya senegalensis was established in the north mountain area of Guangzhou in the spring of 2006. A total of six provenances were included in the trial with five provenances originated from Burkina Faso and one provenance originated from Hainan. Trees were measured annually up to 6 years from planting, except the 5th year, and data were used to evaluate the provenance variation for growth performance and resistance to cold stress. The results showed that:1) K. senegalensis exhibited high survival rate, which was 97.35% during the first year and 95.59% during the second year. 2) K. senegalensis was sensitive to cold stress. Winter frost could cause damage to leaves and even the branches for some of the trees. However, only 1.84% of the trees died from the cold stress. 3) The provenances originated from Hainan exhibited the lowest cold resistance. Among the five provenances from Burkina Faso, the northern provenances from high latitudes exhibited stronger cold resistance than the southern provenances from low latitudes. The best provenance in growth was from Hainan, with the mean height of 329.57 cm and mean diameter at breast height (DBH) of 3.80 cm at age 6 years. The southern provenances from Burkina Faso were intermediate in growth and the northern provenances from Burkina Faso were the worst. 4) Twentyseven superior individuals were selected based on growth, cold resistance and stem form in the test. The mean height and DBH of the superior individuals was 441.58 cm and 5.95 cm, and the mean genetic gain was 8.54% and 0.
