| 2008年12月，广东粤北华南虎省级自然保护区管理处在华南虎饲养繁殖研究中心安装数字化监控系统，对华南虎的生活习性、生产和护仔等繁育行为进行实时监控，动态记录了两只华南虎的生活习性和各种行为，成功记录2010年10月21日和2011年5月9日华南虎两次交配和产仔的全过程，为华南虎的驯养与繁育、疾病预防和日常饲养管理工作取得了珍贵的一手材料。结果表明数字化监控可以准确断定华南虎预产期，实时监控其分娩行为和护仔行为，是华南虎驯养繁殖研究工作可行的研究手段。 |

| In December 2008, a digital monitor system was set up at Breeding Research Center of South China tiger Nature Reserve in North Guangdong. The life habits and breeding behavior of tiger was monitored and recorded by this system. The processes of mating and breeding in October 21, 2010 and May 9, 2011 were recorded successfully, which were precious original materials for domestication, breeding, disease prevention and feeding management of South China tiger. The results showed that the expected birth date can be determined by the digital monitoring system. For tiger breeding research, real time monitoring is a feasible way. |
