The fresh litter standing crop of C. camphora, C. fissa, S. lanceolata, M. laosensis and F. altissima were 7.63 t/hm2, 6.90 t/hm2, 6.38 t/hm2, 13.95 t/hm2 and 7.55 t/hm2, respectively. The order of dry litter standing crop was M. laosensis > C. camphora > F. altissima > C. fissa > S. lanceolata. The maximum water holding capacity of litter and the most proportional water holding capacity of litter of M. laosensis were largest (23.81 t/hm2 and 338.89 %) among the five tree species, F. altissima were least (11.35 t/hm2 and 167.11 %). The maximum interception amount of litter and the modified interception amount of litter had the same change in different tree species with the order of M. laosensis > C. fissa > S. lanceolata > C. camphora > F. altissima. The order of water holding capacity of litter in the five tree species was M. laosensis > C. fissa > S. lanceolata > C. camphora > F. altissima. The order of water absorption rate of litter in the five tree species within 0.5h was M. laosensis > S. lanceolata > C. fissa > C. camphora > F. altissima. |
