细叶桉家系选育试验研究

摘要:
本研究通过对8年生NSW、QLD、PNG共10个种源112个细叶桉家系的树高、胸径、树皮厚度、PIL值等分析结果表明:以种源为评价单位时,细叶桉在树高及胸径的表现上均有NSW种源总体表现较优,QLD次之,PNG较差的趋势。以家系作为评价单位时,具有显著差异。PNG种源具有较高程度的变异范围,推测其可能是细叶桉的起源中心,而NSW和QLD种源则表现为一个树种在进化过程中优势种的扩张现象。树皮厚度和PIL值在所有参试的家系中无显著差异,在今后的选育研究中可以不考虑。综合考虑筛选获得优良家系7个,分别为21、82、5、49、68、83、107号家系。建议今后细叶桉的改良研究应在PNG种源中选择具有优良表现的家系作为起始材料,结合与其他树种进行杂交选育等加以改良,将会有极大的潜力。

Study of field trail on Eucalptus tereticornis families

Abstract:
Abstract: This study was focusing on 112 families of E. tereticornis (including total 10 provenances of NSW、QLD、PNG) field trail, according to these families’tree height, BHD, width of bark and PIL, the results indicated that at provenance level, NSW families have best tree height and BHD, QLD were good, and PNG were worse; there were significant difference among different families. PNG provenance maybe the origin center of E. tereticornis, for it has the biggest range of variation; NSW ans QLD provenances were maybe the second center, they expression just like one species expand during evolution. In future breeding programe, we may not think about the width of bark and PIL, for they were not significant different among all these tested families. Acoording to these results, we chose 7 best families, they were 21, 82, 5, 49, 68, 83, 107. There should be big potential for E. tereticornis improvement, when choose the best family of PNG provenance cross to other eucalptus species.
