| 森林质量性状的改善对于维系和增加森林资源至关重要，但在我国森林经营管理中一直存在重数量、轻质量的现象，随着造林面积的增加，森林质量却在下降。目前，森林质量问题已开始受到关注。本文在介绍国内外森林质量评价研究进展基础上，提出森林质量评价应分别从林分水平、景观水平、区域水平进行多重尺度的评价的观点。并以广州市白云区为例，从三个尺度水平对白云区生态公益林质量进行评价，为管理生态公益林提供了科学依据，对于保护和建设好生态公益林具有重要的现实意义。 |

| Abstract: |
| Improving the quality of forest was the most important to sustain and enhance forest resource. But in the process of forest managing in our country people always put too much emphasis on the quantity of forest resource and neglected the quality of forest. Although afforested areas were increasing rapidly, the quality of forest was declining. Nowadays, people paid more attention to the quality of forest than ever. Based on introducing the progress on the studies on evaluation of forest quality at home and abroad, it suggested that forest quality should be evaluated at stand level, landscape level and regional level respectively. Taking baiyun district in Guangzhou city as example, ecological forests quality evaluation was studied at three levels respectively, the result of which provided scientific basis in managing ecological forest. Meanwhile it had reality significance for protecting and constructing ecological forest. |
